Juanette is a South African artist whose vibrant, textural oil paintings capture the joy and beauty she finds in everyday life. Now based in the Cape Winelands town of Robertson, she paints full-time surrounded by the tranquillity of nature and the support of her family. Influenced by Van Gogh’s fearless use of colour and texture, Juanette works primarily with a palette knife to create bold impasto pieces that celebrate her love for birds, still lifes, and Delft-inspired details.
